Live Digital Steraming on a Tiny Budget
This paper describes a weekend of broadcasting last summer that was achieved with no wages, almost no capital expenditure and no physical resources except for two empty Portacabins and a mains supply. The broadcast lasted 72 hours and was all live. Despite being located in a field in a secluded valley the broadcast was streamed to the Internet as well as transmitted on FM. The crew was 30 people operating the studio plus 10 more making features that were edited on site and formed about 5% of the output.
