A method will be presented for computer-assistance in modeling a bass-reflex radiator. Attention will be paid to these loudspeaker-parameters needed for the computer simulation, especially to the accuracy of knowing them. Starting from an equivalent scheme of the loudspeaker, and the bass-reflex components, a CAD-program for network analysis is used to obtain the frequency-response of the radiator. Computer-simulated and measured results on a real loudspeaker system will be discussed.
