Bartlomiej Mróz was born in 1993 in Gdansk. In 2017 he graduated with honours from Gdansk University of Technology, obtaining a master’s degree in engineering. He spent two years of studies abroad – one year on both first and second degree, respectively: University of Ljubljana (Slovenia) and Graz University of Technology (Austria). During his studies in Austria he conducted research on ambisonics and binaural sound, which resulted in a master thesis on the topic “Externalisation and Distance in Ambisonic Rendering on Headphones”. In partcicular, it is worth mentioning the second exchange – on the last year of master’s degree – which not only brought a master thesis, but also resulted in further cooperation with the Institute of Electronic Music and Acoustics at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (Das Institut für Elektronische Musik und Akustik – IEM Graz).
