126th Convention in Munich

For over 35 years the European AES has visited a selection of major
cities in Europe. Not just large cities with a population of millions or
historical locations but cities that have the facilities to host an
international event like the AES.
Munich, Germany, located in the southern center of Europe, with
excellent transport links and affordable hotels, will host the 2009 AES
Convention. This city came out in first place in the latest Exhibitor
survey of the European exhibitors held last year.

Registration Launched for Automotive Audio Conference
AES 36th Conference on Automotive Audio
June 2-4, 2009
Dearborn, Michigan, USA
We have just launched registration
for the 36th Conference. This conference will focus specifically on
the technical and creative aspects of In-car audio systems. The
conference is for Automotive Audio professionals and those whose work is
related to designing, engineering, researching or testing automotive
audio systems.
The program is designed to cover the latest technology and techniques
used in the industry such as simulation of sound reproduction in
automobiles, active noise cancellation, multichannel sound,
loudspeakers, voice recognition and much more.
This is the perfect opportunity for the Automotive Audio community to
share, experience, and define in-car audio for the next generation.
The registration deadline is May 15th so don't delay!
New Tutorial Posted
The latest in our series of online tutorials is now available. Members
can now view a masterclass on Linear Audio Power Amplification given by
Douglas Self at the 124th Convention. This contains lots of useful
practical examples of circuit designs from an experienced designer. The
AES is grateful to Doug Self for making his work available to members in
this form. It can be accessed by clicking here.
Please note that during the pilot phase for this project these tutorials
are only available to view online in streamed form and there is no
downloadable version. We welcome your feedback about these tutorials,
which can be provided by clicking on the link below the presentation.
Author Note - 37th Conference
Authors, the deadline for proposing
complete 4- to 10-page papers (using one of the style files posted
on the login page) has been extended through April 15, 2009. The 37th
AES Conference on Class D Audio Amplification will be held August 28-30
in Hillerød, Denmark.
