In order to obtain the desired reproduction, the whole surround sound system, which includes the equipment as well as the listening space, has to be tuned properly. In this paper measurements on the surround system were performed; and in connection with room properties, the electric and acoustic parameters of the system were tuned. A comparison of the surround sound system in acoustically different rooms was made.
