As a passionate musician and technology enthusiast, Hans studied Media-Technology at the HAW-Hamburg from 2006 to 2010. In his bachelor thesis he researched together with Helmut Wittek on spatial perception of stereophonic microphone techniques. Already during his internship at the company “SCHOEPS Mikrofone” he was significantly involved in the development of the new digital microphone “SuperCMIT”. In the following master program in cooperation with the department “Allgemeine Nachrichtentechnik” of the Helmut-Schmidt-University Hamburg, Hans focused on digital signal processing. In 2012 he joined SCHOEPS as Product Manager and in 2015 became Head of R&D Electronics.
Hans has long been involved as a drummer and composer in various projects of electronic music. Much of his projects appear on the label "Doumenrecords".
