Amit Barde

Primary Affiliation: University of Canterbury - Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand

Amit is a doctoral candidate at the HITLab NZ. His research interests are centered around spatial audio reproduction and wearable computing, particularly focused on the use of spatial audio reproduction in wearable hybrid interfaces.

He is also an experienced sound designer and audio engineer, having worked for a number of years in theatre, films and with a host of bands as both a recording and live sound engineer.
