A revised PTD draft was discussed and amended. Yonge will post a revised draft as soon as possible. Although somewhat unconventional, it was felt that a normative reference to the Blu-ray Disc specification, produced by the Blu-ray Disc Association, would be useable in this AES document. The reasoning was that any programmer implementing this standard would of course need access to the BD specification as a working document - not just to implement any AES standard - and would obtain it in the appropriate way. It was understood that this could restrict the adoption of the AES standard by other bodies such as IEC.
S. Bock will produce a list of BD titles as working examples of compliant discs to form a new informative annex.
No new liaisons
No new projects were proposed
There was no new business
The next physical meeting will be scheduled in conjunction with the AES 129th Convention in San Francisco, CA., US., 2010-11
