AES-4id-R: Review of AES-4id-2001: AES information document for room acoustics and sound reinforcement systems - Characterization and measurement of surface scattering uniformity
Project scope: This document provides guidelines for characterizing the uniformity of scattering produced by surfaces from measurements or predictions of scattered polar responses. In this context, the surface scattering is quantified in terms of a single diffusion coefficient.

It was proposed to reaffirm this document as soon as possible. The meeting also felt that this project needs to be revised after it has been reaffirmed. R. Sauro has undertaken to submit proposals for revision.
AES20-R: Review of AES20-1996 (r2002): AES recommended practice for professional audio - Subjective evaluation of loudspeakers
Project scope: The recommendations of this document apply to the subjective evaluation of sound reproduction of loudspeakers in domestic listening environments and in professional environments of similar acoustics. The recommendations apply most directly to user-installed free-standing and in-wall loudspeakers.
