AES17-R Review of AES17-2015: AES standard method for digital audio equipment - Measurement of digital audio equipment
Status: No action requested or required – expected to be reaffirmed in 2020. If you feel there needs to be any modifications / additions / deletions, please advise as soon as possible.

AES-X217 Audio ADC test method and performance specification for archiving and preservation applications
Status: C Lacinak has incorporated comments to date. Task group to be created to take this document to completion. In addition to R Cabot, C Lacinak, and J Datta (chair), participation from interested parties is welcome. Please contact the Standards Manager as soon as possible if you would like to participate in a task group to work on this document.

Informational: ADCTest is a desktop application (that builds on X-217), developed for the Library of Congress as a simple pass-fail reporting for the tests detailed in the FADGI Low Cost ADC Performance Testing Guidelines as well as more detailed results – available as open source.

The next meeting will be scheduled in conjunction with the AES 148th Convention, to be held May 2020 in Vienna, Austria.
