Taking over Positions
On March 31st, there is an Open House being held at the Gilbert Campus. Both Benton
and Brock will be attending to promote AES and get future CRAS students interested in
the school chapter. Benton reminded those in attendance that there will be other
students taking over the President and Vice President positions. He encouraged them
to continue to attend meetings and collaborate ideas to broaden the AES chapter at
CRAS.
Meeting Location: Gilbert Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences
Filled the new AES attendees in on upcoming clinics, such as the Mic Build that will be
held tomorrow, March 15th at 7:30 pm. Benton tried to convince those who haven't yet
purchased Mic Kits to purchase one and attend the build. There is also a second Mic
Build on Saturday, March 18th at 7:30 pm. March 28th, there is a re-amp clinic, which is
being hosted by Jeff Harris. Students can attend a re-amp kit for $32, which provides a
cheap way for students to get a great piece of gear.
