We had full tour of the new CBC studios downtown including the newly renovated broadcasting studio. There were very interesting developments on the broadcast control room side. Most of the Audio operations had been automated with computer software and the cameras are all now robotic. CBC staff talked about trying to balance quality and budget. Hard to do when you support staff numbers dwindle to such low numbers.
