On Tuesday, May 2, we held a new virtual meeting (via zoom) to discuss the considerations, objectives and goals of the AES-TAMABA Student Section for 2023, analyze the impact and scope of the presentation made by the AES Argentina Professional Section last April 12 and we welcome those interested in becoming part of the Section.
In said meeting, the board of directors headed by Nahuel Orellana, Ariadna Trotta and Federico Gironelli explained in greater depth the ongoing research projects, one on "Immersive Audio Systems", another on "Acoustic Analysis and Measurements" and another on the " design of a compression plugin".
In addition, general questions were answered about the frequency of meetings, the role of each member and different strategies were thought of to face the difficulties presented by the current economic situation and its relationship with the membership.
Finally, a review was made of the research projects with international projection and the intention to present it as soon as possible in a national audioconference and the intention to participate in the Student Recording Contest that will be held within the framework of the Latin American Conference. in Audio, Quito 2023.-
