Within the framework of the closure of this year 2022, we met as a department to address what will be the next steps in our DIGRA project (Absorption Gradient Diffuser). Our Acoustics and Perception department is facing in person the proposal previously presented in Audio Expertos 2021 and the Conteo AES LAC 2022, which were the beginning of this journey that led us to get together and investigate in depth on these matters, so we will begin a measurement process both in Argentina and Chile with different prototypes of the diffuser (we hope to have at least 2 different proposals) and analyze the results afterwards, comparing and drawing conclusions. The deadline was set for the first part of the semester until June to be able to deliver the written project; we will have empirical data on its operation in control rooms of different sizes, and some recording rooms for have a broader spectrum of its operation, ahead of semi anechoic chamber and possibly other experimental acoustic setups.
