On Monday, May 30, within the framework of the weekly meeting of the AES-TAMABA Student Section, a talk was held with the producer and sound technician Constanza Sánchez. Pioneer in the recording and recording of orchestral music in the Argentine Republic.
Constanza Sánchez shared with the attendees her experience in registering orchestras in the most important stages of the City of Buenos Aires, such as "La Ballena" in the CCK Cultural Center or the main hall of "La Usina del Arte".
Throughout 80 minutes, Constanza described the needs and the tools used in this type of discipline. A review of the techniques with "close up" microphones, in monocompatible stereo and in non-monocompatible stereo, was made.
Prior to the space for questions, a collective listening was carried out on some examples of recording of string, wind (wood and bronze) and percussion instruments. In which various stereo techniques were compared.
