Meeting Topic: Listening Party

On February 24th, the SCAD AES Student section convened in the university Stereo Mixing suite to host a listening party. During this event, which was open to all students at SCAD, participants were given the opportunity to share or listen to any sound related projects that they had been working on.
The meeting opened with a short presentation given by the section's chair, Oddy Litlabo, in which the event participants were informed of AES membership benefits, upcoming events hosted by AES, and the distribution of judge feedback from the previous AES recording competition. After the initial opening statements and presentation, students were invited to present their own projects on SCAD's S6 Console.
Students showed off and received feedback on a wide variety of audio related projects including: Music Mixes, Music Recordings, Production Audio, Sound Effects, Mixes for Animation and Foley Production.
