Summary

Webster University's AES chapter is hard at work this month organizing and preparing for our Central Region Audio Student Summit (CRASS) that we host every year. We are getting together sponsors, presenters, panels, and trying our best to ensure that this year's Summit goes as smoothly as possible.
Our weekly meetings have been successful as well, with some special guests Bill Schulenberg, the Vice President-Elect of the AES Central Region and an adjunct faculty member at Webster, and Garrison Brown, an alumni from the audio department. Along with these guests, we also held elections for our Summit chairs who will be some extra hands with running CRASS.
The home of the School of Communications, Sverdrup, is going to be undergoing a renovation of the west wing, which so happens to house the audio studios as well. Our Dean was able to come into our last meeting of the month to show everyone the plans, and we are so excited for the construction to be finished.
A couple of our officers got the opportunity to help volunteer at the Welcome to 1979 Recording Summit in Nashville, Tennessee. They were able to see some great panels, and meet very influential audio professionals from all over the country, and we hope to see some of them at our very own conference as well.
