Officer and committee reports were followed by a discussion of recent and future planned AES events and activities including our recent very successful St. Louis AES audio gear garage sale and support of the Webster University Student AES Section's Central Region AES Student Summit planned for early April. Re-recording mixer Jim Baldree joined us for our post-business meeting discussion, filling us in on the ins and outs of some of the multitude of delivery protocols and mixing formats he encounters from mono to Atmos as he mixes major TV series for HBO, National Geographic, and Discovery among many others. Plenty of questions, answers, and lively discussion followed into the evening.
All are looking forward to the next section meeting January 10, 2022, location and format TBD.
