The main topic discussed in the meetings that took place throughout October was the preparation of the presentations for the Audio Expertos 2021, an event organized by Aural Escuela de Audio, where every year, both colleagues from our AES section and top professionals talk about their projects and make excellent presentations full of very useful information. This year, on behalf of the 3D Audio & Soundscapes Department of the section, we will be presenting three projects, Julian Perasso will talk about his Sci-Fi style soundscape, and what was his goal at the time of making it. David Joya will be showing the 3D mix of some songs of an experimental Death Metal band from Colombia and to close the day, Josefina Martino, together with all the collaborators (David Joya, Renzo Leveroni, Julian Perasso, Diego Flores and Martin Adrover), will be presenting the group project, which has been in the works for months. This group project is a short film of "terror" or "suspense", where the audio is mixed in 3D. In this short film we mixed the realization of soundscapes for the first half of the short and music mixed in 3D for the second half.
