On Monday October 4 we had the privilege to join the AES Norway section board, after their regular meeting, hosted by Geir Kristoffersen. It was a great moment for us, because we gathered for the first time with a section from another continent, across the ocean.
Geir hosted the meeting with great predisposition and kindness, presenting each board member and highlighting their achievements and roles, inside and outside the AES Norway section. In a specific moment, he asked why we were interested in them, so we answered:
To have the possibility to learn from practices and history from distant sections of the world -in first person- it's amazing. Different cultures and approaches of people of different ages sharing the passion of audio, this kind of contact was allowed only because of the pandemic. The resources were there, but not the situation to do it. Now it is happening, we're doing it.
