Many thanks to Bob Horner for hosting the annual BBQ June 27 in his expansive Maplewood facility and providing all the food, refreshments, and plenty of space to relax and enjoy our first in-person event since March 2020; it was a great success. Everyone was happy to get reacquainted and learn more about Ironman Sound's pivot to thrive during the pandemic by providing professional virtual meeting services, and their preparation for a return to live event staging. Great attendance on a rainy Sunday night, and the fun lasted well into the evening. Special thanks to Central Region VP Ian Corbett for flying in from Kansas City for our event. We all appreciate his friendship and support.
The meeting July 12 will be virtual, but everyone has shown they are eager to return to in-person meetings, so we'll be discussing moving our September meeting back to a venue along with more options for live activities going forward as we get back to normal.
AES membership isn't required to log in to this event, and students at any level are welcomed. If you're interested in audio, please join us. It's always a pleasure.
Contact a section officer for login info. Thanks, and we'll see you there!
