A concise history of the development of technology and its effects on the Recording Industry from the inception of recording technology was discussed and presented with relevant audio examples from the eras. The importance of monitors vs headphones, reference mixes, and listening space as well as ear-training and auditory health as well as common tools for ear-training were discussed.
