e started the meeting at 7:30pm in the Live Sound Room at Gilbert with introductions. The question asked today to spark up the meeting was "are you a musician and if so what do you play?". Our weekly updates were mentioned which included an overview of last week's event, this week's event, and the grad panel being held this Friday. Alec Leal then proceeded to talk about mentorship updates and a brief explanation of what exactly mentors is. After all updates and important information was given, Dylan Torres showed us While My Guitar Gently Weeps by the Beatles and students used their critical listening skills to listen for errors that occurred while recording. For the last portion of the meeting subgroup leaders broke off and spoke to students individually about their group. We ended the meeting with a game of Kahoot that covers basic information at CRAS. The meeting ended at 9:00pm with some new, very excited cycle one students.
