Summary
December and January were an event filled time for the Webster University chapter of the Audio Engineering Society. The chapter was able to tour the St. Louis Recording Club, the studio of Grammy winner Carl Nappa, and learn about his process and the equipment he uses. The Study Jam, an event where students gather in Webster's recording studio to practice for upcoming finals, had to be cancelled because of inclement weather. Now that school has resumed, the chapter is planning more upcoming events such as a tour of Ironman Sound Industries as well as a tour of Shock City Studios. The chapter planning a weekly meetings that focus on mix critiquing, where students can bring in mixes and receive tips and advice.
