Summary

On 6th of June, we were glad to host our 4th annual job opportunity meeting. Despite the forthcoming end of semester, pending exams and sunshine, many students of all semesters came together to listen to three alumnis and their different career-paths:
- Martin Blaß talked about being a young scientist at Joanneum Research, a state funded research facility, and how to gain the full potential of our study program.
- Maggie Kramer told us about her career after engineering-school as business consultant, her unexpected change of plans, setting priorities, becoming a bestselling fantasy author and the value of each and every one of us.
- Michael Pirolt, a self declared electronic nerd, became via detours an ultrasonic engineer and developer at TDK. He talked about the pros and cons of being an engineer at a globally active group.
Thanks to Martin, Maggie and Michael for visiting their alma mater and telling us their stories. Also big thanks to the HSZS - Hochspannungszeichensaal for using their premises. Be excited for the 5th edition next year!
