Assembling the circuit
The past Thursday 6 we reunited with Group 3 in order to continue the design of the capacitive microphone with adjustable spectral selection. We decided to leave for a moment the diaphragm design in order to not delay anymore the electronics!
We started the production of the boostrap, a circuit to raise the impedance since in Argentina some resistance values are not easily achieved. This design raises the phantom power of 48VDC to values close to 300VDC: these values are necessary to achieve the polarization of the plates. We have an old, broken, but still beautiful C414 that we analyze with a critical eye to improve the design of the circuit.
At the same time, we printed more of the plastic parts that will allow us the making of the microphone.
