Some of the AES St. Louis Regional Section Members and Friends Who Braved the Snowy Streets to Attend the January 13, 2019 Meeting
Happy New Year!
The first 2019 meeting of the St. Louis (Professional) section of the Audio Engineering Society was Sunday, January 13, 2019 at C.J. Muggs restaurant, 101 W. Lockwood, Webster Groves 63119. With a great turnout following the area's biggest snowfall in five years, the St. Louis section meeting featured events committee reports about upcoming events at Ironman Sound, the St. Louis Symphony, and Jazz St. Louis in addition to sponsorship of a guest speaker at the 2019 Webster University Central Region Audio Student Summit. The Outreach committee reported on social media, website and cooperative educational initiatives. Several students and potential new members were in attendance, and lively discussions continued at dinner and beyond in the enjoyable post-adjournment networking. Next meeting set for Sunday, March 10, 2019
