Flyer ad for the university general AES meeting
We've hit the ground running with the beginning of the new school year here at Webster's AES chapter as we've started planning for our officers' trip to the International AES Convention in New York, getting the foundations put down for our Central Region Audio Student Summit in March, arranging our bi-monthly concert series events, and planning fun activities for the students that attend our weekly general meetings.
A handful of our officers have also attended the monthly meetings of the local AES professional section, as well as the local chapter of the Acoustical Society of America in an effort to network, make friends, and perhaps even plan events together in the future.
Our first concert series event of the year on October 12th is looking to be quite the experience, with our live chair having brought in local artists and students to sell crafts and prints, and video artists to create a projected background to support the three local musical acts that will be playing as our volunteers get experience running a full concert event from gear pickup all the way to teardown.
