The workshop was a very practical approach to the orchestra recording topic.
Leslie Ann Jones, with her vast experience in recording such formats, was leading a team of recording students, professionals and enthusiasts to record a couple of well known classical symphonies performed by a very well qualified orchestra from Colombia's capital city.
The orchestra was recorded in Colombia's biggest studio "Estudios Audiovisión" with the sponsorship of Audio Technica and Meyer Sound. A 5.1 format was used for the mixing, made in situ.
