Summary

The 2018 CRASS Event in Saint Louis was a weekend filled with workshops, discussions, panels, and demonstrations given by dozens of people who all share the same passion for professional audio. Students were able to attend a variety of workshops spanning many different areas of audio, including sound for film, broadcast audio, traditional studio techniques, live sound, and freelance audio. Panelists from all over the country with a diverse range of expertise came to give students advice and constructive criticism. Some time was allotted simply for storytelling to share some of the experiences that seasoned engineers had been through. Students had the opportunity to ask questions on a one on one basis with many of the leading professionals in audio, and gain insight into the current industry.
