General Meeting
Only about 7 AES Members attended the general meeting. Due to this low attendance, it was held rather short.
First, the membership and financial situations were presented. With 181 current members, the section had its highest membership count in more than 6 years.
The financial situation is tight, since the headquarters' officers are reluctant to assign similar budgets to the sections as before. It has been decided that a representative of the committee will talk to the AES governors about this.
After these reports, the new committee was to be elected. Joël Godel had announced beforehand that he wants to withdraw from the committee. No replacing candidates have been nominated for him so the remaining 7 committee members were to be elected. The present members in unison voted for the current members to be re-elected. The committee wants to thank for the confidence and also wants to thank Joël Godel for his appreciated services in the committee. As an interim candidate, soon after, Mr. Thomas Wochner volunteered to participate in the committee as a trial.
Later in a separate committee meeting, the new committee agreed on following functions:

Gabriel Leuzinger — treasurer
Véronique Adam — secretary
Patrick Boehm — committee member
David Norman — committee member
Christoph Jäger — committee member
Thomas Wochner — committee member ad interim
Meeting Location: Studer Professional Audio GmbH in Regensdorf, ZH, Switzerland
About 15 visitors joined the regular meeting thereafter. Wolfgang Voigt started with a product overview with its features. Special to this product is the seamless integration of telephone applications into a radio broadcast environment. Later on, Richard Murer explained the technical background of the system. A hands on demonstration in Studer's OnAir demo studio concluded the meeting.

After the meeting, a part of the group continued the discussions at the usual dinner after the meeting which was held at the Restaurant Feldschlösschen nearby.
