Other business or activities at the meeting: 2017 started with a workshop hosted by an alumni from Graz. Knowing that the audio engineers in Graz would not stop at scratching the surface but to dig deep into the matter, he provided a workshop about the magic ingredience that makes RME products fast and reliable at the same time. Starting at a fundamental summary of samplerate, AD/DA conversion and electronical components, the talk led to FPGA (field programmable gate array) and the future of circuit design. He concluded the workshop by letting the audience 'play' with the products he brought with and the evening was comfortably closed with a chat about the things just learned.
