Active Professional AES Members Colombia Section
The Audio Engineering Society Colombia Section offered a cocktail with our professional active members to close the 2016. The main objective of the event was to create a social event among our members and strengthen professional networking. The event was hold in Audio Concept Colombia, a distributing company of some of the most renowned companies in audio and stage lighting. We had members that currently work in live sound, recording, mixing, postproduction, sales, rental, and education.
During the whole event, our members were able to enjoy different music and movies sessions for critical listening of the different Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Series references in Audio Concept's demo rooms. By the middle of the event, there was a short intervention from Andrés Millán, current chair of the section, to thank our active members for being so constant with the association activities and shared the events that are programmed for the 2017, including the AES Colombia 2017 Conference.
The event was closed with a critical listening session of the Leopard line array system from Meyer Sound in conjunction with a stage lighting demonstration. The members were satisfied with the results of the and and it helped to bond professionally among colleagues.
