Summary
The St. Louis Section of the Audio Engineering Society hosted a presentation from Terry McCoy of The Lawrence Group architects at Jazz at the Bistro/Jazz St. Louis (3536 Washington Ave, St. Louis, MO 63103). Terry presented for about an hour about the facility's 2014 complete renovation, including the acoustic considerations, sound control techniques in use, and audio wiring infrastructure. Members of St. Louis' pilot Acoustical Society of America were also in attendance.
The event was attended by 14 AES members, and several non-members. It was free to all AES Members and $10 for non-members.
The next Section meeting will be a business meeting, scheduled for December 11, 2016.
