On the 19th of september of the current year it was held in Medellín the talk by Ricardo Escallón "Immersive Audio" in the recognized post production company "Clap Studios".
Ricardo Escallón has worked for audio posproduction for about two decades and is one of the most experienced engineers in the country. He has worked with immersive audio formats in top notch studios around the globe and he was sharing with the audience, the differences between all the current formats being developed by the leading companies in the world. We were able to discuss the advantages and drawbacks of each one of the formats while he was sharing with us all the experiences he has had in the studios he has visited and worked on, where these technologies are implemented. By the end of the conference, the future of immersive audio was discussed. The audience was very participative and looking forward for future events.
