Summary

The meeting started off at 8:00 PM with Aaron introducing himself

as the new AES President. We went around the room and introduced ourselves by

telling everyone who we are, what cycle we're in, and what band brings back childhood

nostalgia. We heard a good variety of answers like Blink-182, Led Zeppelin, Eric

Clapton, Burl Ives, Jay Z, and Mos Def. After everyone introduced themselves Aaron

moved into upcoming events. This week we have CRAS Olympics and there is a lot of

excitement for the new event. When we moved into upcoming ideas we were introduced

to a new member that has connections to someone that will be in town from Disney

Broadcast. We also have someone talking to Sun Studios to try to set up a tour we can

do with them. We heard some great new ideas like Air Band Battle where groups would

battle against each other for best fake band to all genres of music and S'mores night to

record camp sounds as well as networking amongst other students. There was a lot of

energy and excitement from all the new students. The meeting came to an end at

9:01PM where we invited all the new students to have donuts and do a Q&A session

with higher cycle students for them to have any questions about CRAS answered.
