Tonight was the CRAS AES Subkick Build hosted by CRAS Instructor Jeff Thomas. Students started off by unpacking their dual voice coil 8" subwoofers and the fun began! They got to drill holes for their speakers and XLR connectors then screw them in. After everything was fastened down we began striping, tinning and soldering the connections. The build didn't take very long and was fairly easy even for the most unexperienced students. Everyone in attendance had a great time and we are looking forward to future CRAS AES builds.
