Summary

The production meeting started off at 8pm with introductions from the current student chapter officer holders. Then, because we had several new students joining us, we went around the room and had everyone introduce themselves, contribute a few reasons why they're currently a student at the conservatory, as well as, the last movie they saw in theaters. It was a good ice breaker to get everyone talking, and familiar with other students involved in our student chapter. After that was finished, we were lead in a review of the upcoming events by the current chapter president, Matt. We then opened the floor to new ideas for future events. Dave Khor, CRAS AES Faculty Advisor, stepped in for few minutes to talk about some of the upcoming events, to introduce himself to first time students, and see what we've come up with for future event ideas. We discussed the internship bootcamp coming up on the 24th, and Andrew Monheim, who is a CRAS Grad coming in on April 14th to talk about his most recent endeavor in microphones. We spoke about a few invitations we've received to tour Blu Microphones in LA, as well as, Cloud Microphones in Tuscon, AZ. Towards the end of the meeting, it was announced that this was Matthew Pflug's final meeting as student chapter president. Moving forward, Aidan Fletcher will be stepping up to president, Mitchell Hill will be vice president, and Victoria Hebert will be secretary of our CRAS AES student chapter. This meeting was adjourned at 9:30pm.
