The University of Lethbridge AES student section took a trip from Lethbridge to Banff, Alberta, to coincide with the Alberta section's guest speaker event, Florian Camerer. After arriving the previous evening, the members, as well as a few guests, received a comprehensive tour of all the facilities offered at the Banff Centre.
Following this, the group was invited to participate in the weekly listening activity offered by the Banff Centre's audio personnel, and was able to discuss audio recordings produced by the members present. In addition, practicum opportunities available at the Banff Centre were discussed.
Finally, the group joined with members of the Alberta section to attend a lecture by Florian Camerer, of the Austrian TV: "All You Need is LUFS - Loudness Nirvana Around the Corner."
