In this AES meeting, the students were asked to bring in their favorite vinyl records to the meeting for a listening party. Each student was allowed to play a track on a record of their choosing and tell us what they liked about it.
There was an amazing variety of genres presented which created a cool listening experience and a very dynamic vibe. It gave us a better perspective on what the students listen to and what kinds of music they are interested in.
Also, the listeners were intrigued by the variety and were able to converse with each other about the music played. This experience was enjoyed by all who attended and the participants left feeling inspired.
