We were told that we sold 40 AES/Recording Arts T-Shirts, and raised $130 with that. We were only expecting to sell 20 T-Shirts, so this is a great success!
Along with our mixing competition, there is a mixing competition hosted by the Downbeat magazine, that recording arts students might be interested in submitting some projects for.
We will take a trip to the University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne next semester, to attend the Central Indiana Student Workshop.
There will be great opportunities for students to participate in film projects at the IU's telecom department next semester. Robby Benson's course has 13 film makers shoot a film each, and they are looking to collaborate with recording arts students for sound design and post production.
We are planning on hosting a recording arts party before christmas!
