Summary
On Thursday, November 11, MTSU was proud to host gear legend Geoff Daking in Lab B (Rm 191).
The event started off with AES President, Jeremy Simmons, welcoming those in attendance and informing them of upcoming evenets including Mix Critiques, Listening Night, and Mic to Master. Following, Frank Wells of Pro Sound News, introduced Mr. Daking and gave a quick overview of how they know one another.
The meeting proceeded with playback and discussion of pre-recorded audio examples of various combinations of microphones and mic preamplifiers, followed by Q&A and a live demonstration of the Daking FET III stereo compressor/limiter.
