Jeff Carroll is the mastering engineer & owner of Bluefield Mastering Inc., located in Raleigh, NC. Prior to opening his own mastering studio in 2001, Jeff spent ten years as a mastering engineer at American Media International and three years doing audio restoration at the Southern Folklife Collection at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ron Sexsmith, Don Kerr, Watchhouse (Mandolin Orange), Pico vs. Island Trees, Jerry Leger, Ana Egge, the Warren Brothers, Countdown Quartet, Little Feat, Mike Evin, Jon Shain & Stryper are among many benefiting from his mastering skills. Jeff has extensive experience carefully restoring historically significant recordings, including works by JFK, Bob Dylan, Louvin Brothers, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Phil Ochs, Pete Seeger, Etta Baker, Bud Powell & Ewan McColl.
