About

With extensive background as a Sound Supervisor, Senior Sound Designer and Audio Consultant going back over almost 30 years in broadcasting and audio technology, I currently work at Fraunhofer IIS in the Audio and Media Technologies group and support the development and the implementation of MPEG-H, Next-Generation Audio technologies.
I have pioneered loudness normalisation in broadcasting and have written several paper published by the Audio Engineering Society. I actively contribute to develop new audio industry standards by participating to several working groups within AES and EBU.
In regard to my Sound Design and Mixing skills, my leadership qualities combined with my expertise in all the technical aspects of dubbing and audio post-production, mean I am able to develop those around me as part of a drive for excellence. I have experience in producing audio mixes of television programmes, documentaries, sport and promotional content in various languages including English, German, Arabic, Italian, Dutch, French, Turkish. I have an aptitude for management, creating an environment of high performance and achievement, and I know when to provide the support to make sure my audio teams and departments are of outstanding quality.
