The Product Manager for Q-SYS Cloud Solutions will be responsible for driving product strategy and day-to-day execution of Cloud services and solutions centered around the Q-SYS Platform. The role will involve identifying and developing new strategic software and service offerings whilst also building upon existing Q-SYS Reflect cloud services. This role exists within the QSC Product Management team which is responsible for Q-SYS Audio, Video, Control and other product areas. This team collaborates extensively in order to deliver cohesive, multi-faceted solutions to all vertical markets served by Q-SYS. The Q-SYS Cloud Solutions Product Manager is an integral part of the overall product strategy team and will be involved with hardware and software development efforts, working closely with product managers, technical directors, architects and strategy leaders to deliver innovative and industry leading solutions.

The ideal candidate will bring both technical and business expertise in a product leadership role, interfacing with cross-functional teams and will be responsible for developing and conveying the overall product vision to ensure the successful delivery of Q-SYS cloud-based solutions to the market. The candidate will be responsible for identifying key market and product requirements, define product features, user needs and use cases while building strong relationships within an agile software development environment. The candidate will be responsible for assessing the total market opportunity, will own the business cases and future roadmap as well as champion those solutions with stakeholders both internally (Executive team, Sales, Marketing, Support) and externally (Distributors, Reps, Consultants and End Users).

Extensive and demonstrated experience with public and private-hosted Cloud service offerings, remote management and monitoring, IT appliance and software security, data privacy as well as virtualization technology are key requirements for this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed, clear product roadmaps which demonstrate a wide range of research and incorporate voice of the customer, competitive and development team intelligence to create innovative products that are in line with customer needs globally and continue to position QSC as a leader in this field.
• Develop business cases to support SaaS subscription and licensing services incorporating detailed market research and customer requirements.
• Create buy-in for product vision with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive alignment across multi-functional teams to ensure understanding of requirements by developing detailed user stories that will be used to drive product architecture, features as well as go-to-market strategies.
• Communicate customer requirements and work with multiple teams across the organization in striving to exceed customer expectations.
• Collaborate with corporate and regional sales and marketing teams to develop regional go to market strategies.

Qualifications

• MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration or related field preferred or equivalent experience
• 6-7 years of product management experience, preferably with Software, Services, Cybersecurity, IT Administration or other Internet business experience with 2-3 years of Cloud/SaaS in other roles
• 6-7 years of experience in translating customer needs into features, products, services, appropriate pricing models, positioning and delivering an unparalleled customer experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience in managing conflict as well as engaging and influencing an executive team
• Track record of successfully delivering products, services and innovative software solutions
• High level of attention to detail including customer communications and managing multiple priorities successfully.
• Broad technical expertise including familiarity with cloud-based software services, virtualization, remote management and monitoring, data privacy as well as public and private cloud deployments
• Experience in driving a global technical product team with end to end inbound and outbound product responsibilities
• Demonstrated success in delivering high quality technology products and services in a fast paced, ever changing environment
