Rick Snoman is an artist, producer and award-winning author. With nearly 30 years specialising in electronic dance music production, he has remixed for top-ten artists and released under various monikers including Phiadra, RED 5 and more recently, Aeon Soul.
He has ghost produced for international artists and DJ's that have accrued millions of views on Youtube and regularly holds workshops and seminars for students and tutors at educational institutions including South Bank University, Westminster University, The British/Irish Institute of Modern Music and Manchester's School of Electronic Music.
The founder of Dance Music Production - the first online educational resource for electronic music - his textbook has remained as a best-seller for over 15 years and is on the reading list of many international institutions including Cambridge, Harvard and Yale.
An iTunes certified mastering engineer and an EMTAS certified tutor, he is also co-owner of Altar Recording Studios. Based in a renovated church, it has become the first boutique studio dedicated to training electronic music producers, attracting many high profile clients.
Rick is also co-chair of Electronic Music for the Audio Engineering Society, introducing electronic Dance Music to the New York Convention for the first time in its 70 year history.
