Shunsuke Ishimitsu, graduated in production system engineering from Toyohashi University of Technology, Toyohashi, Japan in 1990, and received the Ph.D.degree from Toyohashi University of Technology, Toyohashi , Japan in 1995, for time-frequency analysis of non-stationary signals. From 1990 to 1997, he worked as Research and Development
Engineer for Pioneer Corporation, Tokyo, Japan. He was made Associate Professor at the Department of Electronic-Mechanical Engineering, Oshima National College of Maritime Technology in 1997, Associate Professor at Graduate School of Engineering, University of Hyogo in 2004 and Professor at Graduate School of Information Sciences, Hiroshima City University in 2007. His current research interests include adaptive algorithms for feed-forward and feedback control, time-frequency analysis and noise-robust speech recognition system. He is a member of IEEE, AES, ASJ, JSME and JIME
