Christopher Smolen is an acoustical engineer specializing in finite element analysis at QSC, LLC, a leading manufacturer of audio/video products for professional applications headquartered in Costa Mesa, California. Prior to joining the team at QSC, he designed and constructed loudspeakers as a hobby, and worked as a Biomechanical Engineering Research Assistant at one of the leading research universities in Canada. Chris received his MASc in Mechanical Engineering from McMaster University in Ontario, Canada in 2015, and his BEng in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University in Québec, Canada in 2013.
