Dana Roun joined Full Sail University in 1981 as an adjunct instructor in Live Production while touring the world professionally with such major acts as Boston and Bon Jovi. In 1988, Dana moved to Orlando and developed the first live-concert curriculum that would evolve and become a Bachelor’s degree program in Show Production. During his tenure at Full Sail, he served as architect for the Dreams Across America Fleet that included 6 touring vehicles, including a custom designed studio truck. He was instrumental in the technical design and execution of Full Sail’s Live Venue, a landmark of the university. After serving as Program Director for the Show Produc¬tion Bachelor’s degree, in 2008 he became Director of all Audio Programs. In his role as Director of Audio Arts, he oversees four Bachelor’s degree programs, including Recording Arts, Show Production, Music Production, and Audio Production. He has been actively involved with numerous professional organizations such as AES NAB NAMM, LDI, (Lighting Dimensions International), and NSCA (National Association of Sound Contractors).
