Sue Baker became friends with Les Paul the last 10 years of his life. The two met when Sue, as executive director at the Waukesha County Museum, wanted to create an exhibit about him. Les spent countless hours sharing his life story with Sue and she followed up by researching details for Les. In her role with Les’ foundation, she shares his stories through writing, giving presentations and interviews. She also ensures that partner organizations have resources to teach their students about Les.
Les Paul inspired Sue with his “never say never” approach. Her goal is to inspire others to be all they can be as they learn about Les Paul.
